On July 16th, our community came together for an amazing food distribution event at Al-Noor Banquet Hall, and it was a phenomenal success! A huge thank you to our incredible CFA volunteers, Ellen and Gene. Hard working CRR Educators Hugo & Kenesha were also on hand. Fire Engine Driving – Training

Driving a fire engine, ladder truck, or ambulance is certainly not like riding a bike. You need continuous training to stay fresh on techniques and best practices for maneuvering such large vehicles. Recently, we started training our firefighter/paramedics using virtual reality equipment that simulates what driving these vehicles would be like. A huge thank you to Shon Jones for providing the delicious catered dinner to Station 12 last night! The Mixed Salad, Bourbon Chicken, Sautéed Mixed Veggies, Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Dinner Rolls, and various yummy Desserts were all amazing. Tea and Lemonade were also provided, making the meal perfect! Your generosity and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated by all.
