Driving a fire engine, ladder truck, or ambulance is certainly not like riding a bike. You need continuous training to stay fresh on techniques and best practices for maneuvering such large vehicles. Recently, we started training our firefighter/paramedics using virtual reality equipment that simulates what driving these vehicles would be like.
