Firefighters Responded to a House Fire in Snellville.

Firefighters responded at approximately 2:30 p.m. to a neighbor’s report of a house fire on the 4000 block of McKinley Drive in Snellville. Upon arrival, fire crews found a working fire at a single-family, split-level residence. While investigating, firefighters found a well-involved second floor and attic. Firefighters deployed two hose lines and elevated streams from an aerial to extinguish the flames. The house sustained extensive fire damage to the main floor, second floor, and attic. House Fire at 900 Block of Swan Ridge Circle in Grayson

Firefighters responded at 12:00 p.m. to an occupant's report of a house fire on the 900 block of Swan Ridge Circle in Grayson. The 911 callers advised that the roof was on fire and spreading to nearby homes. The First arriving Gwinnett Police officers updated dispatch to a fully involved house and fire reaching homes on either side. Upon arrival, fire crews found a fully involved single-family residence with fire involvement to 2 additional homes. Fire at 1000 block of Brighton Cove Trail NE in Lawrenceville

At 12:28 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Brighton Cove Trail NE in Lawrenceville. Upon arrival, they found heavy fire in the garage and attic. Multiple hose lines brought the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes. During the search, one cat was rescued from a back bedroom, quickly brought outside, and treated with a pet oxygen mask. The fire caused extensive damage to the garage and attic. Saturday morning at the Smoke Alarm Blitz in Norcross! CFA volunteers, Fire Educators, and Firefighters visited approximately 140 homes, and were able to install approximately 42 smoke alarms and CO detectors. These efforts are critical to keeping families safe by ensuring they have working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in their homes.
