Grab A Meal On-The-Go

Grab a Summer meal On-The-Go Gwinnett's Summer Meals program is back, providing free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to children 18 and younger and those 19 and older with physical or mental disabilities. Nutritious meals are available from Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, August 1, and can be picked up Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm — including County holidays — while supplies last. The month shines a spotlight on the rich history and significant contributions of our Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. This year's national theme, "Choosing Humanity," encourages residents to intentionally focus on shared humanity, the strength of community, and the beauty of diverse cultures. A highlight of our month-long celebration will be the annual AAPI Heritage Cultural Night on Friday, May 30 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville. House Fire — FireFighters In Snellville

This morning, our crews responded to a report of a house fire in Snellville. When the crews arrived, they discovered that the fire was so intense that radiant heat was melting the vinyl siding of two adjacent houses. Firefighters were able to contain the worst damage from the fire to the original residence. No injuries were reported on the scene, however, the family lost one pet.
