Firefighters Responded to a House Fire in Snellville.

Firefighters responded at approximately 2:30 p.m. to a neighbor’s report of a house fire on the 4000 block of McKinley Drive in Snellville. Upon arrival, fire crews found a working fire at a single-family, split-level residence. While investigating, firefighters found a well-involved second floor and attic. Firefighters deployed two hose lines and elevated streams from an aerial to extinguish the flames. The house sustained extensive fire damage to the main floor, second floor, and attic. Medical crews on the scene were utilized to rehab all firefighters. No occupants were home at the time of the incident. The neighbor saw smoke…

Increased ice accumulation can cause more trees and branches to fall, potentially damaging powerlines and leading to widespread power outages.
