Want to learn hands-only CPR? Join our next class! For available dates, visit GwinnettCounty.com/SignUpForCPR. Classes are held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Fire Headquarters, located at 408 Hurricane Shoals Road NE in Lawrenceville! This class is open to everyone ages 14 and older to help you feel more comfortable dealing with emergencies related to cardiac arrest. Please note this program is not designed for those seeking certification. Spots are limited to 30 participants, so don’t miss out!

Searching is one of the most essential skills we learn to save lives. To teach our firefighter/paramedics how to effectively search a building, we train on a drill that we call “Nuts and Bolts. ” In this drill, the firefighter/paramedic trainee begins at the top of our training tower and meticulously works down to the ground floor searching for a bolt with washers on it.
