On February 1, 2025, at 10:28 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of an apartment fire at 1700 Estates Apartments, located at 3300 Treehouse Pkwy NW in Norcross. Firefighters arrived to find black smoke from the breezeway of a two-three, split-level multi-family dwelling. After completing a walk around of the structure, firefighters found an active fire in an apartment on the second floor and quickly deployed a 1 ¾- inch handline to control the flames. On February 2, 2025, at 5:18 p.m. firefighters responded to a neighbor’s report of a townhome fire on the 3300 block of Fernview Drive in Lawrenceville. Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke from a multi-family, two-story middle of the row townhome on a slab. While investigating, firefighters found fire involvement in the garage. Firefighters deployed one 1 ¾ hose line to quickly extinguish the flames and keep them from extending into the rest of the structure.
