This past Saturday, we wrapped up a successful Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful! We had 1,267 cars come through to safely dispose of items like batteries, fluorescent lights, pesticides, and more. Native bees play a vital role in pollinating Georgia’s fruit and vegetable crops — including blueberries and watermelons — along with wildflowers, shrubs, and trees that protect watersheds and provide food and shelter for other wildlife.
