At last night's CFA meeting, the Fire Educators demonstrated how to assemble and operate some of their teaching equipment, preparing us to assist in community training events. We discussed the importance of understanding acronyms like CRR (Community Risk Reduction) and MFSH (Mobile Fire Safety House) and what is a Pre-Canvas Blitz to help volunteers better understand the need from the volunteers in assisting the Educators. Jen Wagner from Animal Alliance Speaks at April 5 meeting

GCFAAA was fortunate to have Jen Wagner from the Animal Alliance of Georgia (https://www.animalallianceofgeorgia.org/) speak at our April 5 community meeting. Animal Alliance of Georgia is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving communities in Gwinnett and Barrow Counties, through both low-cost vaccine clinics, outreach events, and access to subsidized spay/neuter services.  The website provides a detailed description of AAG's mission, services, and availability.   What was most impressive was Jen's discussion of the volunteer efforts involved in operating AAG and the challenges she and fellow volunteers encounter when working to deliver quality services and care to animals in need of better health…
