GCFAAA was fortunate to have Jen Wagner from the Animal Alliance of Georgia (https://www.animalallianceofgeorgia.org/) speak at our April 5 community meeting. Animal Alliance of Georgia is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving communities in Gwinnett and Barrow Counties, through both low-cost vaccine clinics, outreach events, and access to subsidized spay/neuter services.  The website provides a detailed description of AAG's mission, services, and availability.   What was most impressive was Jen's discussion of the volunteer efforts involved in operating AAG and the challenges she and fellow volunteers encounter when working to deliver quality services and care to animals in need of better health…

Gwinnett County Library Spokesman Delivers Inspiring Talk

Jason DiFranco, Director of Development and Community Relationships at Gwinnett County Public Library, gave a really inspiring talk at our March 1 meeting. We learned (and were very impressed) with how much the Gwinnett Library System has expanded it's reach beyond its core mission to provide food assistance, to deliver high-quality wireless internet "outside the walls" to those who need the connection, and so much more.
