House Fire at 900 Block of Swan Ridge Circle in Grayson

Firefighters responded at 12:00 p.m. to an occupant's report of a house fire on the 900 block of Swan Ridge Circle in Grayson. The 911 callers advised that the roof was on fire and spreading to nearby homes. The First arriving Gwinnett Police officers updated dispatch to a fully involved house and fire reaching homes on either side. Upon arrival, fire crews found a fully involved single-family residence with fire involvement to 2 additional homes. Fire at 1000 block of Brighton Cove Trail NE in Lawrenceville

At 12:28 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Brighton Cove Trail NE in Lawrenceville. Upon arrival, they found heavy fire in the garage and attic. Multiple hose lines brought the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes. During the search, one cat was rescued from a back bedroom, quickly brought outside, and treated with a pet oxygen mask. The fire caused extensive damage to the garage and attic.
