Free Groceries For Families — 14th & 28th Oct

Find free groceries for families in need Struggling with food insecurity? Volunteer Gwinnett, in partnership with Atlanta Community Food Bank, is helping those in need through free drive-thru food distributions. The food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The next distributions will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville and Tuesday, October 28 at Best Friend Park in Norcross. Recycle Day — 08-Nov-2025

Recycle your items at America Recycles Day Have some hard-to-recycle items? Rain or shine, you can bring them to America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 8 from 9:00am to noon at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville. Volunteers will remove items placed in disposable containers from the trunk or back seat of your vehicle. Recycling electronics is free except for projection/console TVs ($35), computer monitors ($15), and printers ($5). For a full list of acceptable items, visit GwinnettCB.org or call 770.822.7141. Property Tax Due Date 15-NOV-2025

Property tax bills due November 15 The 2025 Gwinnett County property tax bills, mailed in September, are due on November 15. If you have an escrow account, your property information is made available to your mortgage company. However, it is your responsibility to ensure taxes are paid. Voter Registrations & Elections

Vote in advance for the Special Election Registered voters can cast their ballots early for the November 4 Special Election. Vote advance in person every day, including Saturday and Sunday, from October 14 to October 31 at the Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections Office in Lawrenceville and 11 advance voting locations throughout the county. If you prefer to vote by mail, request an absentee ballot until Friday, October 24. Visit GwinnettElections.com for more information.
