Firefighters At Woodshade Drive In Loganville

Firefighters responded tonight to the 3500 block of Woodshade Drive in Loganville for a woods fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a large wooded area approximately five acres on fire near Vines Park. Fire crews contained and extinguished the fire in approximately 36 minutes. No injuries were reported on the scene. Residents who live in this area, please be aware there will be residual smoke due to this fire for the remainder of the night and into the early morning hours. Ensuring that everyone in the family is well-educated on fire safety is one of our top priorities. This includes the youngest members of the family, as well! Residents of all ages are welcome to schedule a tour at any of our 31 fire stations Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
