Trick or Treatment Fall Festival
Our annual Trick or Treatment Fall Festival is just two days away!Join Gwinnett Water Resources on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Yellow River Reclamation Facility for our free family fun fest.Play some games, create some crafts, and enjoy some delicious food. Take an eye-opening tour of our award-winning treatment facility (it’s not haunted, at least that’s what the ghosts tell us), and visit our vendors to learn about some of our community services.Costumes are encouraged, but optional. The more the scarier!

Blight Bandits is helping clean up our community. Another Gwinnett Great Days of Service project with members of the Dacula United Methodist church. We picked up 8 bag of trash, a muffler, a doll, an entire exploded 12 pack of coke and 1/2 of a wrench. Thanksgiving Food Giveaway
Join the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office and Volunteer Gwinnett at the 2025 Thanksgiving Food Giveaway at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Volunteers are needed Monday, November 3 through Wednesday, November 5 to prepare food boxes. Volunteers are also needed on Thursday, November 6 to distribute the food boxes to families in need. This outdoor opportunity involves standing and lifting, so gloves, closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Volunteer groups of all sizes are welcome to register at this fun, annual event now in its fifth year. Road CleaUp – GDOS – Blight Bandits & GCFAAA
Blight Bandits will do a one hour clean up on behalf of GCFAAA . This Gwinnett Great Days of Service. I attached the flyer. It’s a short, helpful project. Please join.. Blight Bandits took care of our adopted road in Dacula, Georgia this weekend for Gwinnett Great Days of Service! Tip: Always wear your safety vest - speeding cars everywhere! Blight Bandits helped Keep Elbert County Beautiful and Bobby Brown Park with a 7 mile clean up last weekend!

HouseFire — FireFighters — Norcross
(Norcross,GA., October 12, 2025), Firefighters responded at 2:46 p.m. to a neighbor's report of an apartment fire at the Reserve at Gwinnett apartments at 1780 Graves Road NW in Norcross. No occupants were in the apartment at the time of the incident, and they stated they were out at the park all day. The Firefighters on the scene found the fire started on the deck; the source is undetermined.
