On Saturday, November 15, the Yellow River Water Trail joined Gwinnett Parks and Recreation, Gwinnett Water Resources, and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful to support the 10th annual Yellow River Trash Bash. The Yellow River begins north of Lawrenceville and flows through Gwinnett County as part of its 76-mile course, making it a vital resource for our local environment. Volunteer Gwinnett proudly partnered with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office and the Keybo Building Bridges Foundation to support the fifth annual Thanksgiving Food Giveaway on November 6 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Over four days, 507 volunteers contributed 1,201 service hours to help sort, pack, and distribute 108,284 pounds of food, providing 3,000 holiday meals to families across Gwinnett.
