As we bring National Physicians Week, we want to bring attention to Drs’ commitment and lifesaving work. Neha Verma and Patrick McDougal here in Gwinnett County.
Dr. Verma has lived in Gwinnett County for more than 25 years and is the associate medical director for Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department. In the department, she oversees the education of EMT and paramedic trainees at the Training Academy in Dacula.
Dr. McDougal has served as a medical director with our department since 2016 and also serves the community as a part-time emergency physician in the Northside hospital system. McDougal works with department leadership and field providers regularly and also enjoys a good “fireside chat” with our personnel.
