Attend Gwinnett Pride with the Visibility Club Gwinnett thrives with Pride! In Gwinnett County, we celebrate Pride Month every June to affirm our support for the LGBTQ+ community. This year, we are partnering with the Gwinnett Visibility Club for Gwinnett Pride on Saturday, June 21 from noon to 6:00pm at Thrasher Park in Norcross. Learn more about this year’s celebration here. Across the country, Pride Month is recognized every year to commemorate the Stonewall Uprising, a series of protests in 1969, which was a turning point for the Gay Liberation Movement.

For 10 years, the Gwinnett 101 Citizen Academy has given participants a firsthand glimpse into how and why the Gwinnett County Government operates the way it does. Aiming to cultivate informed and engaged residents, students, and business owners in Gwinnett, participants get a behind-the-scenes look at how the County provides high-quality services to the community, meet local leaders, and tour county facilities. Attend The Bridge The Gap Community 5K

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the Bridge the Gap Community 5K this Saturday, May 31 at Rabbit Hill Park, located at 400 Rabbit Hill Road in Dacula. The event will begin at 8:00am, with warm-up, registration, and packet pick-up from 7:00am to 7:45am. The race will finish by 10:30am. The race entry fee is $35. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Keybo Building Bridges Foundation, which focuses on improving community engagement and addressing disparities. Register today to enjoy a fun-filled event, establish impactful relationships, and support a worthy cause.
