Volunteer Gwinnett will host service projects across Gwinnett all weekend long, including wetland cleanups, food packing for homebound seniors, mobile food distributions, and activities with Gwinnett Parks and Recreation. Volunteer Gwinnett Makes An Impact — Mobile Food Distributions

Volunteer Gwinnett, in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, supported ongoing efforts to ensure food security through the Mobile Food Distribution program. Volunteers contributed 1,303 hours to support the distribution of more than 486,007 pounds of fresh produce and pantry staples to residents through 50 distributions taking place every Tuesday. These efforts directly supported families facing food insecurity and strengthened partnerships with local nonprofits, religious organizations, and civic and community groups who helped host these distributions.
