This afternoon, firefighters responded to the 2600 block of Winthrope Way in Lawrenceville for a house fire. Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames with two hose lines, searched the home, and assessed one individual with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire was accidental and the occupants were notified of the fire by their smoke alarms. Due to the firefighter’s training and speed on the scene, they extinguished the fire in 17 minutes.
