Gwinnett County residents should be aware of a faulty firearms accessory, as nearly 230,000 units have been recalled due to a button cell battery issue.
The battery violates mandatory federal regulations for consumer products, as they can be easily accessed and potentially ingested by children.
The button cell battery is not included in child-resistant packaging, violating Reese’s Law.
If swallowed, the battery can cause serious injuries to children, including internal chemical burns and death.
