Firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on the 3000 block of North Bogan Road NE in Buford.  Firefighters arrived at 7:00 a.m. on 04-Sep-2025.  and reported heavy smoke and fire showing from a two-story, single-family dwelling with a basement. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this fire. All fire crews rotated through rehab before returning to service. Fire investigators said that the cause of this fire is under investigation, and the deceased male was known to be the occupant of the house. Sunday evening, our crews responded to a house fire that claimed the life of one elderly woman. Upon arrival, fire crews found power lines down in the driveway with heavy fire involvement coming from the garage of a single-story residential structure with a crawl space. While investigating, firefighters encountered fire extending from the garage into the first floor and initiated an offensive attack, deploying two handlines to extinguish the flames. Gwinnett County firefighters were dispatched at 8:53 a.m. after multiple 911 callers reported flames visible from a top-floor unit at 1406 Club Lakes Parkway. Callers also indicated that residents might still be trapped inside. In total, 31 residents were displaced and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross and apartment management. Fire Investigators determined the fire originated on the second-story balcony. The cause remains under investigation. In the early hours of Saturday morning, firefighters rushed to a house fire on Old Athens Highway in Lawrenceville. When crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Because the structure was unsafe, firefighters fought the fire from outside and brought it under control in about an hour. Search teams later entered safe parts of the home but did not find any victims.  One of the residents who lived in the house told firefighters she was away when the fire started. Earlier Monday(31-Mar-2025) morning, our crews responded to a house fire in Loganville. Five people were transported to the hospital. Firefighters arrived at 4:16 a.m. and reported a working fire in a two-story, single-family dwelling. Fire crews said flames were visible on the first and second floors of the home. Medical crews transported five patients from this incident. Two of the kids ( ages 15 and 21) are being treated for burns. The third kid (age 14) was not injured.
