Fire crews battled a fire in Buford this afternoon.(Buford, Ga., Dec. 18, 2025) – Firefighters responded at 3:44 p.m. to multiple 911 callers reporting an apartment fire at the Plantation Ridge Apartments at 1022 Level Creek Road in Buford. The 911 caller advised that there was a fire behind their apartment unit, and the fire was spreading to the second floor. The 911 callers advised dispatch that people were evacuating the apartments.  Medical crews on the scene were utilized for firefighter rehabilitation. (Snellville, Ga., Dec. 14, 2025) – Firefighters responded at 1:04 a.m. to reports of a house fire at the 3000 block of Jonathan Court in Snellville. The 911 caller advised that the neighbor’s house was on fire, and his wife was still inside the home.Two adults were affected and displaced by the fire. In the early morning hours today, firefighters arrived on scene to a large blaze that devastated one home and displaced three adults at the 2700 block of Peachtree Walk in Duluth. Luckily, our firefighters quickly extinguished the flames using four hose lines, and everyone who was home at the time of the fire was able to escape. (Norcross,GA., October 12, 2025), Firefighters responded at 2:46 p.m. to a neighbor's report of an apartment fire at the Reserve at Gwinnett apartments at 1780 Graves Road NW in Norcross. No occupants were in the apartment at the time of the incident, and they stated they were out at the park all day. Firefighters responded at 3:45 a.m. on 21-Sep-2025 to a house fire on the 900 block of Overlook Path Way SE, Lawrenceville. Fire units arrived and found a two-story residential structure with heavy fire coming from the garage area. Gwinnett County Police relayed the location of the possible trapped victim to firefighters. Firefighters deployed a hose line and a 24-foot extension ladder to a second-story window on the front of the house for rescue. Firefighters made entry through the window and searched the room. Firefighters responded to a home that caught fire in Duluth at the 4200 block of Creek Hollow Way. The occupant of the home was "sweating pipes" when they noticed smoke and flames. Firefighters used three hose lines to extinguish the fire. Thankfully, there were no injuries on the scene. Remember, a fire can happen at any time in your home. Our fire crews responded to the 900 block of Winding Down Way in Grayson for a house fire. A large fire in the attic caused significant damage to the home.
