House Fire – FireFighters In Loganville

Earlier Monday(31-Mar-2025) morning, our crews responded to a house fire in Loganville. Five people were transported to the hospital. Firefighters arrived at 4:16 a.m. and reported a working fire in a two-story, single-family dwelling. Fire crews said flames were visible on the first and second floors of the home. Medical crews transported five patients from this incident. Two of the kids ( ages 15 and 21) are being treated for burns. The third kid (age 14) was not injured. Dr. Verma has lived in Gwinnett County for more than 25 years and is the associate medical director for Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department. In the department, she oversees the education of EMT and paramedic trainees at the Training Academy in Dacula. We want to celebrate a Gwinnett father-son duo who proved that even the simplest actions in a fire response can save lives. Last year, Company 30 responded to a house fire and learned that a neighbor helped ensure a quick response. A young resident saw the fire from his bedroom and told his dad, who immediately called 911. The father also alerted his household and neighbors before helping them evacuate.
