All aboard the North Pole Express! Children of all ages will delight in a yummy brunch, making fun crafts, and sharing their wish list with Santa personally! Bring your little ones dressed in pajamas to hear Santa share a magical story, and don't forget your camera for photos with ol' Saint Nick. It takes place Saturday, December 13 at 11:00am at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse at 185 Crogan Street in Lawrenceville. Each parent, child, and family member must register in advance and pay in order to participate in the event. The cost is $26.00 per Gwinnett resident, $46.00 for non-residents.

Residents can pick up fresh and shelf-stable foods at the county's remaining 2025 Mobile Food Distributions. Distributions start at 3:00pm and continue while supplies last. December dates are as follows: Tuesday, December 16 at Shorty Howell Park Tuesday, December 23 at Rhodes Jordan Park Each distribution site is a contactless drive-thru, and no identification is required. Our crews in the Norcross area responded to a business fire yesterday afternoon on Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Thanks to strong teamwork, ongoing training, and solid leadership, firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and prevented further damage. No injuries were reported, and the fire has been ruled accidental. Solid work, A-Shift!
