Thanksgiving Food Giveaway – 05/06-Nov-2025

Join the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office and Volunteer Gwinnett at the 2025 Thanksgiving Food Giveaway at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Volunteers are needed now through Wednesday, November 5 to prepare food boxes and Thursday, November 6 to distribute the food boxes to families in need during the event. This outdoor opportunity involves standing and lifting, so gloves, closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Volunteer groups of all sizes are welcome to register at this fun, annual event now in its fifth year.                Serving Our Community — One Car at a Time!  Today’s food distribution event at Best Friend Park in Norcross was an incredible effort — and a powerful reminder of the need in our community. CFA Alumni volunteers joined forces with our partners to help serve over 600 cars, providing food and essentials to families in need. Reminder! Join us for America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 8 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds from 9:00am to noon.
