Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office is hosting their 4th annual Thanksgiving food give away on November 7th at location: Gwinnett County Fairgrounds ( 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville) . Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has partnered with Volunteer Gwinnett & Southeast Cooperative Food Ministry to host this event. Food Item to prepare a Thanksgiving Meal will be provided to families in need. Only one food box per household while supplies last.

Firefighters at a house fire in Lakeside Drive – Dacula

Firefighters responded at 6:19 a.m. to a report of a house fire in the 2300 block of Lakeside Drive SE in Dacula. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a working fire in a two-story split-level house, with heavy flames on the left side. Crews quickly began a transitional attack with multiple hose lines and brought the fire under control in approximately 25 mintues. During a search of the home, one cat was found deceased.
