County Offices Closed For November holidays

All Gwinnett County Government offices, apart from operations required for the comfort and safety of residents, will be closed Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day and will resume regular hours on Wednesday, November 12. Offices will also be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Trash will be collected as normal throughout the holidays, except for Thanksgiving Day, when collection will be delayed. For more information, visit GCSolidWaste.com. Residents can now drop off unwanted medications like half-used prescriptions, expired pills, and forgotten cough syrups at NarcX collection boxes located at every Gwinnett police precinct and at police headquarters for free. Between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, residents can safely drop off pills, tablets, capsules, and liquids with no questions asked. In partnership with the Council on Alcohol and Drugs, this initiative helps prevent dangers like accidental ingestion, prescription medication misuse, and environmental contamination.
