Gwinnett residents now have a secure, convenient way to dispose of expired, unwanted, or potentially dangerous prescription medications thanks to newly installed NarcX collection receptacles.
Located in the lobbies of all Gwinnett Police precincts and headquarters, these receptacles make it easier for residents to safely dispose of pills, tablets, capsules, and liquid medications during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Proper disposal prevents accidental ingestion and misuse of medications and protects our environment, helping maintain a healthier and safer community. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this safe, simple, and environmentally-responsible service.
