Today is National First Responders Day. We honor the men and women who answer the call when emergencies strike: firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, dispatchers, and all those on the frontlines of safety.
Here in Gwinnett, that means thousands of calls every year, from medical emergencies and fires to car crashes and rescues. Every response requires courage, training, and sacrifice.
Behind every siren from a responding fire engine is a firefighter/paramedic who is also a neighbor, a coach, a parent, or a friend. These are your community members who put service above self, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Join us in saying, thank you, to Gwinnett’s first responders.
