Close Before You Doze!
Open VS Closed Door Decibels: As part of the Close Before You Doze outreach initiative, Steve Kerber, the Director of the UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute took measurements with a sound level meter and recorded the difference between the loudness of a smoke detector with and without an average interior home door in between.
