Volunteer Gwinnett, in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, supported ongoing efforts to ensure food security through the Mobile Food Distribution program. Volunteers contributed 1,303 hours to support the distribution of more than 486,007 pounds of fresh produce and pantry staples to residents through 50 distributions taking place every Tuesday. These efforts directly supported families facing food insecurity and strengthened partnerships with local nonprofits, religious organizations, and civic and community groups who helped host these distributions. Volunteer Gwinnett is proud to recognize the incredible impact of our volunteers in 2025! Thanks to their dedication and collaborative spirit, our residents and nonprofit community partners contributed 1,048,000 volunteer hours, resulting in an estimated $36 million in taxpayer savings for Gwinnett County. Additionally, 64,673 individuals participated in 10,486 service opportunities, projects, and volunteer events, demonstrating an inspiring commitment to service across Gwinnett.
