A convertible infant highchair was recently recalled for entrapment and serious injury hazards, posing an additional risk of falling. Customers are encouraged to immediately stop using the product and seek a refund or dispose of it. This is just one of several recent product recalls. The first day of our annual outdoor burning ban begins next week — Thursday, May 1. As a reminder, this ban is established statewide by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division and will be in effect until September 30, 2025. Please remember that burning yard debris is limited to leaves, limbs, etc. that fall on your property. Burning solid waste, household garbage, or any material that creates heavy dark smoke (rubber products, oils, roofing material, etc.) is prohibited.
