The Citizens Fire Academy (CFA) Alumni warmly invites our alumni and the public to join us for our February 4, 2026 CFA Meeting, featuring a special guest speaker:
Sheri RussoMetro Atlanta Field Coordinator
Georgia Emergency Management Agency – Homeland Security (GEMA-HS)
Sheri Russo plays a vital role in helping keep our communities prepared and resilient. As the Metro Atlanta field coordinator for GEMA-HS, she provides all-hazards emergency management consultation services to nine metro Atlanta counties. Her work includes helping local governments create emergency operations plans, develop standard operating procedures, and design innovative training exercises. She also helps coordinate disaster response efforts across Georgia to ensure communities receive the resources they need to recover.
This promises to be an informative and engaging presentation, offering valuable insight into emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts happening right here in our region.
