“On behalf of the Volunteer Gwinnett Team, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your contributions to our food distribution this week. Together, we succeeded in serving more than 8,000 lbs. of food to over 400 families and 1,600 residents. To put into perspective the impact you had that day, each of the countless bags you stuffed vegetables, or the boxes you carried into residents’ cars, was food on someone’s table. A day they would not have to worry how they were going to feed themselves or their families. You displayed hard work, enthusiasm, and kindness, marks of not only a good volunteer, but a great person. We truly enjoyed working alongside you, and we would be honored if you chose to volunteer with us again.”
