Weathering Storm With Emergency Preparedness – Youth Education

Weathering Storm With Emergency Preparedness – Youth Education

We continue to offer a once-a-month program giving youth in grades 9 through 12 the opportunity to connect with police officers through our Badges and Youth Education Program.

The interactive sessions will focus on a variety of safety and security topics that teach young people how to safely navigate different scenarios. Each class runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at our Training Center and police precincts across Gwinnett County. Registration is required, and seating is limited. Classes are for youth only.

Register your child to learn about preparing for natural disasters and emergencies. We know it can be scary, but the more you prepare, the less frightening they seem. Learn how to build your ready kit and explore the possible hazards. The workshop session will take place on Tuesday, September 16 at Gwinnett Police Annex located at 800 Hi Hope Rd in Lawrenceville. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with local police officers and EMA.
