Pure Barre is a full-body workout that combines ballet, yoga, and Pilates to strengthen and tone muscles. It’s a low-impact, accessible workout that’s suitable for all fitness levels.
“Bendstretch” A tiny quiver in the joint followed immediately by an extension and contraction of the muscle being worked.
“LTB” Shortened version of the Pure Barre Slogan, Lift. Tone. Burn! This is what we are all about. See you at the Studio for a little or a lot of LTB!
“Hold” is A movement held in its deepest, tightest, and lowest position to achieve isometric contraction.
“Down-an-inch-up-an-inch” A one-inch range of movement in a slow controlled motion slightly larger than a pulse, small than a full range of motion.
“Heavy Tailbone” is A position that is held by engaging the core and bringing the spine to neutral creating a straight line from head to the tailbone.
