FireFighters – House Fire In Loganville

Firefighters responded this morning at 4:06 a.m. to a passerby’s report of a house fire on the corner of Athens Highway and Rosebud Road in Loganville. Firefighters arrived on the scene at a known abandoned structure home with “For Sale” signs in the yard. Fire crews conducted a search which revealed one adult victim that was inside. Firefighters assisted the victim out of the structure and passed the victim to the medical crew who began assessing and treating the individual. On February 1, 2025, at 10:28 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of an apartment fire at 1700 Estates Apartments, located at 3300 Treehouse Pkwy NW in Norcross. Firefighters arrived to find black smoke from the breezeway of a two-three, split-level multi-family dwelling. After completing a walk around of the structure, firefighters found an active fire in an apartment on the second floor and quickly deployed a 1 ¾- inch handline to control the flames.
